Preserve Our Wrecks Outer Harbour Project

There are many wrecks in the Kingston area. Presently there are approximently 80 hulls, wrecks and sites of diver interested that have been located over the last couple of decades. The Outer harbour project aims to document these sites by video, sketching and photography in order that we can create an accurate inventory of these objects.

As sites are catalogued, they are given the green light for the general diver population to enjoy. Many of these sites are not moored so greater than normal skills are generally needed to dive them as there is a no-achorage policy in effect.

Recent finds and or relocations include:

The Mark I

The Varuna

The Dupont Salvage Scow

Marine Museum barge II

Kingston Yacht Club barge

Kingston General Hospital Powerline Wreck

Kingston Belly Dumper
